	American association of enthusiasts (aace) - American association of the enthusiasts (aace) recognizes 47 breeds in the championship/alter classes, and has a household pet class. since 1993 aace has registered over 20,000 cats, 1,500 catteries, and has 50 member clubs.
	American Cat Association (ACA) - American Cat Association (ACA) is the oldest of the American cat registries, older than CFA. ACA does not have a web site. Based mainly in the Western United States.
	American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA) - The American Cat Fanciers Association was formed in 1955 by a group of Cat Fanciers seeking greater flexibility in the development of cats, the activities of cat lovers and greater freedom for growth and harmony with contemporary needs of the individual breeders and the broadening horizons of the Cat Fancy at large.

	Canadian Cat Association (CCA) - Since 1960, the Canadian Cat Association (CCA) had grown and evolved into a registry of great merit, with affiliated clubs across Canada.
	Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) - The Cat Fanciers' Association's (CFA) board of directors unanimously approved a policy statement at their February 7-8, 1998 meeting in Houston, Texas. In passing the policy statement the board reconfirmed that the association is a registry of Felis catus species of domestic cats.
	Cat Fanciers Federation (CFF) - CFF, the Cat Fanciers' Federation, Inc. is a feline registry with clubs and judges in North Eastern portions of the United States. People can participate in CFF through individual membership and membership in CFF clubs in their area.
	Fanciers Breeders Referral List (FBRL) - The Fanciers Breeder Referral List (FBRL) is the largest and oldest dedicated cat breeder referral service on the World Wide Web.
	Federation internationale feline (fife) - Federation internationale feline (fife) can be considered as the united nations of cat federations. in fact it is a federation of national members representing, at present, 41 countries, with 41 full and 2 probational members, but whose numbers continue to grow.
	Governing Concul Cat Fancy (GCCF) - The GCCF is the primary governing body of the Cat Fancy in the United Kingdom - the feline equivalent of the Kennel Club.
	The Internacional Cat Association (TICA) - The International Cat Association was organized established Friday, June 22, 1979 in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri.
	Traditional cat association (tca) - The traditional cat association is a positive, friendly, helpful, and non-political all breed association.
	United Feline Organisation (UFO) - The Mission of United Feline Organisation (UFO) is to provide a professional cat registry for cat fanciers, breeders and exhibitors
